These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors and bookings at Whitmore Hall. By making a booking, visitors agree to the following terms.
Whitmore Hall is open to the public on selected days and times between March and September. Opening hours are Wednesdays from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, Saturdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm, and Bank Holidays from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. All Hall tours must be booked in advance, with reservations required at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled visit.
Hall tours are not suitable for children under the age of 12. However, younger children are welcome to visit and enjoy the gardens and surrounding grounds. Visitors are advised that some areas of the Hall may be closed during their visit due to maintenance or operational requirements.
Admission to Whitmore Hall operates on the basis of a voluntary donation, which supports a range of Staffordshire charities dedicated to preserving the local community and countryside. While donations are not mandatory, visitors are encouraged to contribute. A payment of £8 is required at the time of booking to secure a place on a tour; this payment may be refunded upon request in accordance with the cancellation policy.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, you must contact Whitmore Hall as soon as possible by emailing info@whitmorehall.co.uk. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled visit. Cancellations within 48 hours of the visit cannot be accepted. Refund requests must be submitted via email, and refunds will only be processed through email correspondence.
Visitors are requested to arrive approximately 10 minutes before their scheduled booking time and be prepared to provide their booking name and email confirmation upon arrival. While every effort will be made to accommodate late arrivals, this cannot be guaranteed and no refunds will be issued in such circumstances. Whitmore Hall reserves the right to cancel, amend, change, or withdraw any booking at any time.
Members of Historic Houses may access the grounds free of charge as part of their membership; however, all visits must still be pre-booked. Members should contact Whitmore Hall at the time of booking to arrange for the donation fee to be waived. All visitors, including members, must notify Whitmore Hall if they are unable to attend their booking.
Whitmore Hall aims to be an inclusive venue; however, visitors should note that disabled access is available on the ground floor only.
Photography and filming are not permitted inside the Hall.
Upon making a booking, visitors will receive a confirmation email. Whitmore Hall may contact visitors using the contact details provided at the time of booking in relation to their visit. Personal information will be used strictly in accordance with applicable Data Protection Legislation and will not be used for any other purpose without consent.
